The simplicity and quick pace of tasks on MTurk, coupled with the minimal oversight over individual contributors' processes, makes it an apt playground for the unfettered use of AI. However, the implications are far from inconsequential, as these tasks often require human cognition. The crucial question, then, is what happens when one AI black box is employed to train another?

The rise of AI within the Turking ecosystem is noticeable, with an EPFL study estimating that 33% to 46% of Turking work could be potentially done by AI. Notably, AI assistance allows workers to increase the speed, efficiency, and reliability of their task completion. For instance, an AI program with 90% accuracy could significantly boost a worker's productivity. But, what does this mean for the quality of output?
