Facebook’s Enhanced Call-To-Action Buttons & New Local Business Features

Facebook's new call to action buttons allow people to order delivery, purchase items and make appointments

With Facebook’s updated call-to-action buttons people will not be able to schedule appointments, order items, purchase things and much more. The business owner will be able to choose the call-to-action button that best suits their business. For example, restaurants will be able to get requests for delivery, beauty salons can have customers book appointments, and much more. These are currently available in the US only.

The update ties in with some of the major service sites including:

  • Delivery.com
  • HomeAdvisor
  • MyTime

According to Facebook, the new calls-to-action that are available are:

  • Start Order – Accept orders with delivery.com or Slice.
  • Book Now – Book appointments with HomeAdvisor, MyTime and other services.
  • Buy Tickets – Sell tickets with Eventbrite or Ticketmaster.
  • Get Showtimes – Provide show schedules and sell tickets with Fandango.

What if you are a local business who is not using any of these services? Facebook still has options for you to drive the same kind of business transactions. These will come to you from Facebook  Messenger. Your customers can request a quote, time, and even shop now.

These are excellent updates to Facebook, so if you are a local business, make sure to hop on and explore your options.
