This one is great for anyone who works with a team (or with a client that likes to micromanage). With collaboration, you can set up people in your team (and clients) so that they have access only to certain social accounts, and only to certain areas within those accounts. It’s super easy to set someone up and to remove them when needed. What kind of users can you set up?

  • Admin: This is the person who owns the account (most likely you). This person has control over the entire dashboard and back-end items such as billing.
  • Manager: This person can be given almost all access to the site, except for back-end items such as billing.
  • Sub-User: A sub-user can be allowed to schedule and post content to a page. They can also be given access to Instagram tools, the Socialdraft Queue, the Engagement Inbox.
  • Managed Sub-Users: These are almost the same as sub-users. The difference is that while they can schedule content, the content won’t publish unless it is approved by an admin.
  • Guests: These are the users with the least power. Most of our users use this setting to give access to clients. Guests can access Tylko the social networks you choose. They cannot edit, delete or re-schedule content, but they can leave notes on posts for your team.

“Joe’s Restaurant Location 1 All”: You can create a campaign where you put all of Joe’s restaurant’s social networks: their Facebook page, Twitter account, and Instagram account.

  • Whenever you want to see what is scheduled for all networks, simply drill down by this campaign.
  • Whenever you want to schedule a post about their weekly happy hour to all their social networks, simply schedule it to that campaign.

Joe’s Restaurant All Locations Twitter: If Joe’s restaurant has 3 locations in the same state, and they are all running the same promotion, you can group all of Joe’s restaurant location’s Twitter accounts into one Campaign. – Once a recurring post is created, it becomes part of a group
– If you edit a single post from the group, it will be removed from the group

One of the most requested features by our agency users was to have guests invited to the dashboard. They told us that some of their clients were asking for a way to review posts and leave notes before they posted. Socialdraft already offers downloadable calendars (you can send them as PDF to clients), but we thought this would be a great idea for those of you who have clients who are more hands-on. What are Socialdraft Guests?

Socialdraft guests are people you can invite to have access to the Socialdraft dashboard, but with restrictions.

What Can Socialdraft Guests Do?

Socialdraft guests can view scheduled content and leave notes about posts that need approval on the dash. Say you are an agency, but you have a client that requires a bit more access. you will be able to invite them as guests, give them access to view a one or multiple calendars and make internal comments on posts that have been set up to require approval. The approval still must be done by an account admin. Guest can also filter to see posts between accounts they have access to.

What Can’t Socialdraft Guests Do?

Guests can’t see, feeds, or settings. They can’t re-schedule or move posts, they can’t delete posts or duplicate them.

How are Socialdraft Guests Different than Team Members

Team members get a ton more access than guests. A team member could be a member of your organization, an intern, or a freelancer. Team members can be given permission to create content and the all-in-one inbox.

Socialdraft Managers

Socialdraft managers have a more power than regular sub-users or guests, but less power than account owners.

What Can Socialdraft Managers Do?

Socialdraft managers can create, schedule, and reschedule content for the social networks the account admin assigns to them. Along with these functions, Managers are also able to (with account owner’s permission):

The Socialdraft dashboard allows you to schedule social media updates to:

You can schedule these manually on our calendar, or you can schedule them in bulk by utilizing our CSV feature. The video below shows you this feature in action:

First you need to download your CSV:

  • Go to the calendar
  • Click “Import CSV”
  • Click “Download Starter CSV”

This CSV will have one sample post for each of your social networks formatted exactly as it should be.

When you create your CSV content, make sure that if you are creating a tweet that you keep the text at about 100 characters IF you are including a link and an image.

Also make sure that you put the link and image link in the assigned columns to avoid any errors.

***To add an image link, simply right click the image and copy the link for the image. Then paste into the image field.

If you are using TrueTime, you do not need to take any actions with the date/time fields. Socialdraft will ignore whatever is in there.

Once you’re ready to bulk schedule, head over to the Calendar area, and click on “Import CSV”.

– Upload your CSV File
– Once the file is uploaded, click “Submit”
– Check your posts for accuracy and edit if you need to
– Click “Select All”
– Select the range dates you want your posts to publish
– Check your Time Zone
– Click “TrueTime All”
– Then click “Schedule”

This is quite simple and works for scheduling to Facebook pages, Facebook Groups, Twitter Konta, LinkedIn Strony, Deski pinterest, and Instagram accounts (you still need to manually publish to Instagram).
